I offer individual saxophone lessons and music theory tutoring through the High Sierra Saxophone Studio

I've been teaching saxophone for nearly 10 years and have helped my students reach a variety of goals. Some students come to me because they want to minor or major in music, but most of my students want to enjoy learning music in the kind of tailored, one on one setting alongside their other musical activities like school bands.

Whatever you or your students musical goals, private lessons will help you reach them faster and with less trial and error.

I offer in person lessons in the Reno/Carson City area and provide digital lessons for students who live further away.

CONNECT

Use the contact form below to reach out and tell me a bit about you/your student. Please include what part of the Reno/Carson area you live in.

PLAN

We will then schedule a consultation (skipped for absolute beginners) in which we'll meet, go over lesson policies, and do several exercises for me to determine what your skill level is and where we should start.

STUDY

Once we've decided that we're a good fit, we'll begin weekly lessons! These often take place either at the student's home, at the student's school, or at my home in Carson City.

So how much do I charge?!

I charge a monthly rate, this includes student notebooks, supplemental music and materials, availability for questions between lessons, and 4 monthly lessons. If your lesson requires more than 20 minutes of travel time for me, a small travel fee may be added. More details on my pricing and policies will be available once you reach out.

Rates

30 minute lessons: $140/month

60 minute lessons: $240/month
